BELTS

Our oak bark tanned leather belts are a perfect blend of heritage craftsmanship and timeless style.
Made entirely by hand in York, these belts feature British oak bark tanned leather, a material renowned for its durability, sustainability, and character.
Sourced from the last remaining, 400 year old, oak bark tannery in the UK, the leather undergoes a 14-month tanning process using natural materials like pure water and oak bark, resulting in unmatched quality and a rich patina that develops over time.

Want to see where your belt leather comes from?

Introducing J&J F Baker, the UK's last remaining oak bark tannery and our trusted supplier of exceptional leather. It’s truly fascinating how their traditional process, using just water, bark, and hides, transforms into a stunning, sustainable material. This age-old method not only produces beautiful leather but also mirrors our commitment to quality and sustainability at Morgan + Wells. We're proud to work with such a dedicated and authentic British tannery.

Want to see where your buckles come from?

We're incredibly proud to use the hardware produced by Abbey England UK, our trusted supplier of premium buckles and solid brass fittings since day one.

Founded in 1982, Abbey remains a family-run business with deep roots in the equestrian trade. They champion UK manufacturing by sourcing raw materials locally whenever possible, aligning perfectly with our values at Morgan + Wells. We're proud to partner with like-minded businesses and support UK craftsmanship.
